Stella Barba has been a leading professional tango dancer for 20 years, performing in numerous shows, films and television programmes. She has partnered some of the most famous dancers of her generation including Pocho Pizarro, Roberto Tonett and Puppi Castello. Stella has also danced the lead in shows, and teaches the leader and follower roles with equal skill.

El Pibe Sarandi is visiting Yorkshire as part of a European tour. He is a true milonguero, born into the world of tango, and one of its most experienced exponents. His classes are characterised by his outstanding energy and enthusiasm.

Saturday 25th March 2006 10am-12noon Tango workshop Group A (beg/imp) Part I Argentine Tango Basic Elements - the walk, the embrace, the leading and following.
2:00-4:00pm Tango workshop Group A (beg/imp) Part II The fundamental movements and turns.
4:30-6:30pm Milonga workshop Part I (all levels)Technique and the basic elements of the milonga, as well as on a few sequences and tips.
8-11:00pm Tango Party. Plenty of dancing and demonstration.
Sunday 26th March 2006 10am-12noon Tango workshop Group B (int/adv) Part I Tango logic in leading and following - going deep into the variations of the authentic tango movements.
1:30-3:30pm Tango workshop Group B (int/adv) Part II Tango dynamics - how to use the movements, rhythm and motion in tango, which include the normal and complex movements, combined with changes in rhythm.
4-6pm Milonga workshop part II (all levels) It is necessary to do part I before part II of the workshops (group A, B and Milonga)
